Caught wind of a tweet today asking if ranting poetry was still a thing today. Obviously said tweeter had not look any further than his nose to check if we punk poet rant types still tread the boards of the spoken word world. I wrote this as a response (if you are named here, respect due!)
Where have all the ranters gone?
We didn’t dissolve into a pub
It was the pretenious poetry world
A lot of us did sorta snub

Picket fences and shouting at all the fascist pigs

We now send emails of poems
Instead of a illiterate letter
